Step into the world of Antjie Krog and other famous authors

Spend an afternoon in the exciting company of books and authors, and come hear what everyone has to say about their books and genres.

Our keynote speaker, Antjie Krog, will share the magical world of sound, colour, and rhythm in her children’s poetry, and also give us a glimpse into her new autobiographical novel, Binnerym van bloed.

Afterwards, you can enjoy mingling with our authors – Fanie Viljoen, Ros Toerien, Lori-ann Preston, Elsa Winckler, and Erla Diedericks – over a glass of wine and some finger food, and you’ll also receive a complimentary gift book.

One day, not too long ago, we launched a World Book Day competition... And for the third year running, Penguin Random House South Africa invites the best, brightest, and most delightful schools to take part in a magical storybook day where learners and teachers can dress up as their favourite book characters.
